Meet the Hosts

Our Story

Back in 2011, we connected through a Facebook message. Kia was transitioning to Atlanta from Alabama. Adah was hosting parties in Atlanta and advocating for LGBTQ+ rights. For years we planned to collaborate, but could never get on the same timeline.

Since then, Kia grew into one of Atlanta’s leading lesbian promoters. Adah moved to DC and then returned to Atlanta after marriage equality passed, taking a background role in party promotions to focus on advocacy full-time. While enduring blows from 45’s administration, we decided as promoters, Black women, lesbians, and advocates living in Atlanta, that we could do more.

To amplify our cultural and political power, inform our communities, and advance policies and experiences that meet us in all our intersections, we’ve FINALLY linked up to talk parties, politics, business, and bullshit from a ratchet and refined view - especially for folx like us.
